Do you have student loan debt? If you are like me and do not pay enough to pay that debt off or if you have a huge amount of debt. Take a look at a new program that started in 2009.
IBR Income Based Repayment Plan.
I just printed out the paperwork to send in. Even though my payments will be $0. I will not have any more interested added to my loan. The government pays the interest for the first 3 years you are on the program. As soon as I can get some other bills paid, I am going to start paying on this loan. But in 25 years whatever is left will be wiped out. I will be 67 then and hope I am still living but hey I really want to start making some headway on this giant amount.

Holy crap, I just ran my numbers and they said my payment was likely to be $170. It is just $58 now!
Kim are you sure. I know some people have gotten funny numbers from that.
