Here is what I look like!

If you ever wondered what I look like. This is it.........well 40 years ago. LOL

My God Father had this painted of me while he was in Korea. The painting is getting old (I however am not) and I wanted a picture of it before falls apart.

Thank you to Jeff and all our service personnel.

Today waiting for the bus. A young man was there. We started talking and he told me he just got back from Japan. I asked him if he was in the military. He told me he was a US Marine. Well the first thing I did was say Thank You! and the I appreciate all the hard he and every service person does for America.

Jeff is going through some changes trying to adapt to being home. He did not stay in contact with his family and trying to make ammends there. So if we could pray for Jeff and all are service people and their families.

Thanks

My family and I wish you a Merry Christmas

Here is a photo I took after our first ICE storm last week.

2008 Challenge yourself

Is anyone starting to think about the new year. I don't really make resolutions but I am going to be challenging myself to do a few things.

Right now:
1. Save change every month and put in savings.
2. Make a monthly spending report and follow it
3. Track my spending. I did it for a month. Now I know I can do it for 12. I just have to stick to it.

What are you challenging yourself to do?

Savings Account that pays me back!

Working on how I am going to pay bills and save money in the new year. Tomorrow I will go to the bank and put in the change I saved in Nov. into my savings account. I opened and account.

Here is the account! So next October I could earn up to $100.00 in FREE MONEY!
At Guaranty Bank, we're here to help you save. That's why we offer Savings PayBack. Add this function onto any of our checking accounts, and it will do the saving for you.

Here's how Savings PayBack works
1. Open a Guaranty Bank checking account
2. Add the Savings PayBack feature to your Guaranty Bank checking account
3. Open a Guaranty Bank Regular Savings Account
4. Choose the amount you'd like to save, and Savings PayBack will automatically transfer that amount from your checking to your savings each month
5. When you make 11 consecutive monthly transfers, Guaranty Bank will reward you by matching your average Savings PayBack monthly transfer amount, up to $100, in the 12th month

Earn up to $100 each year!
Savings PayBack is an annual program that keeps giving back. So, the more you save each month, the more you will earn each year. Keep saving and you'll be rewarded year after year!

Right now I have the following going into my account:
1. 25.00 of my weekly child support - Goes in weekly (Transfer)
2. 20% of my paycheck - bi weekly deposits (Transfer)
3. 50.00 a month from checking. (Transfer)
4. Monthly change jar.

Only the Transfer amounts count towards the free money.

With those deposits Nov. of 2008 I should get a 100.00 deposit of free money. I also can use the savings if I need to. They only look at deposits not withdrawls.
